Stretching/Warm-up

We aren’t just blasting the punching bag aimlessly, the teacher will take you through several combinations working with punches, knees, and kicks. The more classes you take the better you will become, new members think some of our women in cardio kickboxing classes are competitors, thats how good their kickboxing has become.

Pad work
When we are done with the heavy bags we switch it up and will have you partner up with another student in class. One student will hold for another. We divide the class into beginner and more advanced girls so the new girls have simpler more basic combos while the more skilled kick boxers get longer more advanced combinations. Don’t think that holding pads is time to slack, in your first session you will discover very quick that holding pads is almost as tough as hitting them.

Gut buster time

Time for abdominals, even though without realizing it you’ve been exercising your core the whole entire class, turning your form on punching and kicking. At this time the class does some core moves. planking, sit ups, and russian twists, all fun stuff. Building the core will help your movements improve, develop your strength and stamina, and it will start working on your 6 pack abs.

The Home Stretch
We finish our sessions with some stretching and high fives for finishing strong. In an hour of cardio Kickboxing you burnt more calories than you could jogging on a treadmill machine , riding a bike, or lifting weights.
