Michael Stewart is the head MMA coach. He is a pro level grappler and a college wrestler. He is ranked number 1 in the northeast region at light heavyweight.
Our Muay Thai Coach here at WFC is Primo Bellarosa. Since the age of 8 he has been training. A full time coach for the past 10 years. He has fought in 3 weight classes and is a 7 time muay thai champion. Primo has coached and cornered guys in the highest level of the sport. Including Strikeforce, Bellator, and the UFC. He is a BJJ purple belt under Renzo Gracie and wrestled in college. That knowledge with his accomplishments in muay thai give him an edge when it comes to teaching striking for MMA Training in Bridgeport.
Our head BJJ instructor is Steven “the prodigy” Williams. He earned the name the prodigy because he was the youngest and fastest to achieve the level of blackbelt under Renzo Gracie himself. Steven was flown around the country to help train top level UFC guys, He was flown back and forth to Canada to be the main training partner for GSP for over 4 years. Steven is undefeated in MMA and has won many advanced grapplers quests, naga’s, and grappling tournments (too many to list).
Our boxing coach at WFC is Joey Valle. He scored the fastest knockout in golden gloves history and is a NY golden gloves champ. Joey is a professional boxer with an undefeated record of 5 and 0 Both Joey’s father and grandfather Victor Valle Sr. and Jr. are world renowned trainers that trained and cornered world champions.
