Kru Primo Bellarosa is our head muay thai coach here at WFC. He started training as a young boy at the age of 8. A full time coach for the past 10 years. He is a 7 time muay thai champion in 3 weight classes. Primo has coached and cornered guys in the highest level of the sport. Including Strikeforce, Bellator, and the UFC. Primo wrestled in college and is a purple belt in BJJ under Renzo Gracie. With his experience in Muay Thai and his well rounded knowledge give him an edge when it comes to teaching striking for MMA Training in Shelton.
Our head BJJ instructor is Steven “the prodigy” Williams. He earned the name the prodigy because he was the youngest and fastest to achieve the level of BJJ Blackbelt from Renzo Gracie. Steven was flown around the country to help train top level UFC guys, He was flown back and forth to Canada to be the main training partner for GSP for over 4 years. Steven has won many advanced grapplers quest and naga tournaments (too many to list) and he is undefeated in MMA competition.
Our boxing coach at WFC is Joey Valle. A golden gloves champion who made history recording the quickest Knockout in golden gloves history. He is undefeated as a pro with at 5-0. Joey comes from a bloodline of boxing greatness. Both is father and grandfather Victor Valle Sr. and Jr. have trained world champions.
