Michael Stewart is the head MMA coach. He is a pro level grappler and a college wrestler. He is ranked number 1 in the northeast region at light heavyweight.
Our Muay Thai Coach here at WFC is Primo Bellarosa. Since the age of 8 he has been training. The past 10 years he has been coaching full time. He is a 7 time muay thai champion in 3 weight classes. Primo has coached and cornered guys in the highest level of the sport. Including Strikeforce, Bellator, and the UFC. He is a BJJ purple belt under Renzo Gracie and wrestled in college. That knowledge with his accomplishments in muay thai give him an edge when it comes to teaching striking for MMA Training in Trumbull.
Our head BJJ instructor is Steven “the prodigy” Williams. He earned the name the prodigy because he was the youngest and fastest to achieve the level of BJJ Blackbelt from Renzo Gracie. Steven was flown around the country to help train top level UFC guys, He was flown back and forth to Canada to be the main training partner for GSP for over 4 years. Steven has won many advanced grapplers quest and naga tournaments (too many to list) and he is undefeated in MMA competition.
Danny Joey Valle is the boxing coach at WFC. He scored the fastest knockout in golden gloves history and is a NY golden gloves champ. Joey is a professional boxer with an undefeated record of 5 and 0 Both Joey’s father and grandfather Victor Valle Sr. and Jr. are world renowned trainers that trained and cornered world champions.
