The MMA Coach here at WFC is Michael Stewart. Stewart wrestled in college and was a pro level grappler. In the northeast region he is the number 1 ranked light heavyweight.
Kru Primo Bellarosa is our head muay thai coach here at WFC. He has been training since the age of 8. A full time coach for the past 10 years. He is a 7 time muay thai champion in 3 weight classes. Primo has coached and cornered guys in the highest level of the sport. Including Strikeforce, Bellator, and the UFC. He is a BJJ purple belt under Renzo Gracie and wrestled in college. With his experience in Muay Thai and his well rounded knowledge give him an edge when it comes to teaching striking for MMA Training in New Canaan.
Our head BJJ instructor is Steven “the prodigy” Williams. He is nicknamed the prodigy because he was the youngest and fastest to achieve the level of BJJ Blackbelt from Renzo Gracie. He was the main sparring and training partner for GSP during 4 years of his career. Steven is undefeated in MMA and has won many advanced grapplers quests, naga’s, and grappling tournments (too many to list).
Danny Joey Valle is the boxing coach at WFC. He scored the fastest knockout in golden gloves history and is a NY golden gloves champ. He is undefeated as a pro with at 5-0. Both Joey’s father and grandfather Victor Valle Sr. and Jr. are world renowned trainers that trained and cornered world champions.
